The drink -- a blend of strong tea, flavoring powder, juice or milk, and giant purple balls of pearl tapioca -- has taken cities like Hong Kong, London, and Toronto by storm. Now, thanks to a band of turbo-car fanatics/CWRU graduates, the Taiwanese treat has come to the heartland. Take it from us: Chai latte is sooo over.
