A product of the powerhouse Glenville High School football team, Cardale Jones began the season as Ohio State’s third-string quarterback only to be thrust in the spotlight when the games meant the most. The 6-foot-5 quarterback with a rocket of an arm started the Big 10 championship game against Wisconsin and dominated. He started the first-ever college football playoff game against Oregon and dominated. He started the national championship game against Alabama, and yet again, he dominated, leading to a brief flirtation with the NFL draft before he announced he was coming back to OSU.
