"People don’t know the deviousness of that twerp," says George from Lakewood.
Good morning, the name is George. Excellent article you had, “Time to Discard Denny
I have the misfortune – well, the good luck -- to live in Lakewood, but the misfortune to have Denny represent me.
As a teacher, one of the things that people realized way back was for democracy to work, you had to have an educated public. And this was the start of public schools. You can’t just vote for any jerk, you’ve got to know something. And this is where we’ve fallen down...
I’m an independent, by the way, so don’t misunderstand me. But he’s a two-bit hustler! That’s what he is. He’s the Willy Stark, you know of the 1930s, still talking New Deal politics. From my high rise in Lakewood, I look at the hulk of what used to be MELP, the Municipal Electric Power. There’s no smoke coming out of it. It’s nothing more than a sub station.
I don’t want a politician to promise me a damn thing. If he knew anything, he wouldn’t be a politician, see. I can look out after myself. This is his charm. Lord almighty, the poor grey haired peaceniks living in Lakewood, Rocky River and Westlake. C’mon, the world is moving on. But no, this is Denny. And the idiots along W. 25th Street, there on the West Side. I’m gonna bring jobs. Denny, how can you bring a job here? You can’t. You don’t know how to run a business.
It’s so aggravating that there are that many stupid people! And if the Democratic Party would have had some sense, they would thinned it to just Denny and Cimperman. That’s the problem. Because he did not get a majority of the votes. And so, you know, how do you get rid of Denny? Oh Lord almighty. Think of how many people you have to reeducate.
He’s a clown, he’s laughed at around the world. You know, it was interesting, I was quoted in the paper about him flittering around the world. And that’s true! Hey Denny, why are you going to Syria? Why are you doing this? You represent this district.
Keep on that clown! Keep his feet to the fire. Look at him. He’s got it made. He’s gonna be like Byrd of West Virginia. They’re going to be wheeling Denny in on a gurney for Christ’s sake, and he’ll still have a job making the big bucks running for president, and being able to take a trip to Hawaii as a campaign expense. People don’t know the deviousness of that twerp.
Thank you for listening. It does get me excited about his, his… look at him. I’m for the common man, the working man. Bill Gates is a working man, Warren Buffet is a working man. Who the hell is not a working man, except for people on welfare? Well thank you for listening, but that was a great article. Just wanted to tell you again. You have a good day, sir. Bye.
