Thieves Swipe Pizza, Not Cash, From Delivery Driver

We're not schooled or experienced in the ways of the common thief, but it would seem to us that if you took the time, effort, and risk to don ski-masks and jack pizza from a delivery man, you might as well take his cash while you're at it. Seems like one of those killing two birds with one stone situations. That way you could buy a pizza the next time you get hungry.

Even if you're main target was the food, even if your hunger pangs were so dire and persistent that you could think of nothing else but a piping hot slice of pie, you're already committing a crime, so why not get a little extra dough, too? Perhaps the fact that we don't understand means we should stick to the writing thing and leave crime to the criminals.

19 Action News reports:

The driver tells police that he was approached by two men, one was wearing a ski mask and the other had something covering his face.

The suspects didn't want any cash, but demanded the pizza instead. The driver handed the food to the suspects and they fled on foot. The driver returned to the restaurant and called police.

The suspects are two males, 16 — 22 years-old. The first suspect was 6'0", 150 lbs, and wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black ski mask. The second suspect was 6'02", 150 — 175 lbs, wearing jeans and a black jacket with what appeared to be the collar covering his face.

If you see somebody who matches these very generic descriptions, check their shirts for grease stains before you call the police.
