Update: Fitting news update given the feature story in last week's issue of Scene...
Alexa Nasonti, a 25-year-old former teacher at Norwalk High School who was fingered for sleeping with a student, finally gave in a pleaded guilty. She's looking at a max of five years in the slammer for the felony, but the prosecutor will review a pre-sentence investigation and will ask for up to 18 months if the report recommends jail time.

A 25-year-old Norwalk High School teacher has been put on administrative ice while police try to determine whether she was involved in some kind of hanky panky with a underage student.
Authorities became suspicious of the relationship between art teacher Alexa Nasonti and a 17-year-old when the two were discovered in the student's car at Lion's Park in Castalia earlier this month, so says the Sandusky Register.
Nothing was going on, they claimed at the time, although it was after 9 p.m., which is a little suspicious, and subsequently police have found the two exchanged “hundreds of text messages,” which is a little more suspicious. The paper reports officials have confirmed some of the texts may be sexual.
The Norwalk Reflector reports the boy was found with a condom in his pocket on the night in question, which is just . . . well, we'll have to see how this all turns out.
Nasonti has been put on paid administrative leave while the school susses out the situation. A quick Google swim shows the art teacher may have been a Bowling Green alum, and in addition to teaching was the assistant softball coach.
