The members of Broods, the brother-sister act consisting of Caleb and Georgia Nott, became inspired at young age as they watched their parents perform in an ABBA tribute band. As teenagers, they won local talent competitions around their hometown Nelson New Zealand and formed a band called The Peasants. After that band split up in 2012, the pair formed Broods, and the band released its debut album, Evergreen, a year later. Released last year, the group's latest album, Conscious, features collaborations with big-name acts such as Lorde and Tove Lo. The album differs from the first in that it includes more live instrumentation, something that should make the songs come to life at tonight's show. (Vidal)
