FORUM artspace presents a thought-provoking and compelling new exhibit, I.E. Fine Art Illustration, which features the work of five area artists — William Appledorn, Amber Esner, Matthew Goik, Nick McMahan and Buzz Szilagyi. Their artwork has been spotted in galleries, shops and street corners all around Cleveland and beyond. This new collection explores the role of the illustrator by engaging in a modern-day dialogue about culture and the illustrator's place within it. Each artist offers a unique perspective on what it means to be an illustrator creating art about and for other illustrators. An opening reception for this new exhibit takes place tonight from 5 to 9 at FORUM artspace's 78th Street Studios location. (McConnell)
