Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s exhibit, provides an excellent overview of the British band’s long career. It’s actually the first-ever major Stones exhibit. Today, the Rock Hall kicks off what it’s calling The Rolling Stones Celebration Weekend with a screening of the concert flick Live at the Checkerboard Lounge, Chicago 1981. The film shows at 3 p.m. at the Foster Theatre. Throughout the weekend, there will be special screenings, a special fan-vote Rock and Roll Night School, a Rolling Stones Gallery Talk, a #rockhallsatisfaction Instagram photo contest, an exhibit scavenger hunt and a commemorative credential giveaway.
