You really don't need to know that ZZ Top released an album a couple weeks ago, but it might come in handy when they play a couple new songs in Akron this week and you're there scratching your head and wondering what the hell you're listening to. Chances are you won't have the same problem with the bulk of their set, which will reach back 40 years for classics like “La Grange,” “Cheap Sunglasses,” “Gimme All Your Lovin',” and “Sharp Dressed Man.” Plus, there'll be a lotta guitar action.
