Cleveland police are once again flaunting their prowess as law enforcers after illegally installing traffic cameras at an intersection in Parma.
Cleveland's cameras and signage went up on Parma property just west of Broadview and Brookpark road, a location, which, per city ordinances, is downright illegal.
According to Parma City Hall, school zones are the only places in the city where automated traffic enforcement is permitted.
“[I]t appears this was a mistake and we have been informed that it will be removed by the City of Cleveland,” the folks at City Hall told NewsNet5.
The upshot? The cameras were not
installed properly fully functional so no motorists were cited.
