With teams wearing No. 42 for games yesterday in honor of Jackie Robinson, it's that time of the year where everyone likes to look back and remember the last major leaguers to wear the number before it was retired.
Who was the last one to don ole No. 42 for the Tribe?
Answer after the jump.
That's right, folks. Mike Jackson. I didn't know it either until I checked this helpful chart from the ever brilliant minds over at Flip Flop Flyball which was passed along by my buddy Craig Calcaterra over at NBC's Hardball Talk.
Fun fact about Mike Jackson discovered while looking up his stats: Was 21st in the 1998 MVP voting the year he had 40 saves and a 1.55 ERA and a 0.875 WHIP.
