Jimmy Page replaced Jeff Beck in the Yardbirds, so it was appropriate that one guitar god inducted the other. But the highlight of the induction was an old video clip in which Beck (who looks an awful lot like Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel) goes on and on about some guitar wankery stuff ... which was immediately followed by a clip of Spinal Tap's Tufnel going on and on about some guitar wankery stuff.
Beck then jammed with Page, who hugged Beck and left him on his own to play the Peter Gunn theme. —Michael Gallucci
