Check out this week’s Scene for a review of Rode Hard, Put Away Wet: Clevo Hardcore ’89-93, a DVD-CD set that documents the classic lineup of Cleveland punk heroes Face Value as they grow from thrashing kids with mullets to bleach-blond crossover contenders.

The CD features the early band’s complete discography, including unreleased demos. Transferred from old videotapes, the DVD includes bonkers footage of shows all over the country, including now-closed Cleveland venues like Babylon A-Go-Go and the Empire.

The DVD intro promises unauthorized duplication will be met with “a hearty beating,” so you can pick it up at Mind’s Eye or Ultrasound. It's also available online at Amazon, iTunes and direct from the label at SmogVeil.com. —D.X Ferris
