The Black Keys will play Chicago's Lollapalooza festival in August.
The Akron duo is close to the top of the bill. The fest runs Friday, August 6, through Sunday, August 8. Set dates haven't been announced yet. But it looks like the Keys will have a good slot.
The Keys are on the third line of the online ad — right up there with MGMT, Hot Chip and Social Distortion, and above the New Pornographers, the National, Devo and Erykah Badu.
Headliners are Soundgarden, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, the Strokes and Phoenix.
The Keys' new album, Brothers, comes out on May 18. The first single, "Tighten Up," goes on sale next Saturday, April 17. — D.X. Ferris
