Apparently director Spike Jonze is still in a Where the Wild Things Are kinda mood.
In the new video for LCD Soundsystem's "Drunk Girls," a bunch of guys dressed in cheap-ass panda suits harass a group of people (including LCD's James Murphy) who are trying to sing the song. They bring an arsenal of eggs, fire extinguishers, spray paint, and confetti to the party.
We're way excited for LCD Soundsystem's new album, This Is Happening, which comes out on May 18. Hopefully the spirit of this video carries through the album.
What do you think? How does this video rank with Spike Jonze's other music videos, like Weezer's "Buddy Holly" and Fatboy Slim's "Praise You"? —Michael Gallucci (follow me on Twitter @mgallucci)
