Golden-age Pink Floyd mastermind-singer-bassist Roger Waters is coming to the Q on September 28. He’ll be leading a band through Floyd’s The Wall album in its entirety, to celebrate its 30th birthday.

The concept album is arguably the zenith of the rock record as a narrative art form. And Waters’ last tour of Floyd material got great notices, so he definitely won’t be half-assing it.

But what else will you get? Little information is available at this point, but he's promising an elaborate visual show that will use big-ass new-school high-resolution video screens. Waters’ website has a little visual tease and a statement about why he’s mounting the tour.

We’re not sure if he’ll build an actual wall, but the show will be in the round, so all the seats should be good. Tix range from $58 to $102 at Live Nation outlets and online. They go on sale Monday. —D.X. Ferris
