Cleveland Represents on New Mixtape

Here's something to get your weekend started right: a new mixtape featuring Cleveland and St. Louis hip-hoppers.

The "Royal Heir Ent. Presents Cle-X-STL Hip Hop" mixtape is available as a free download here. They're also streaming the mix, in case your IT guy won't let you download at work.

Local websites 216thetakeover and ohiohiphopawards teamed up with a pair of like-minded St. Louis sites for the 35-song mix.

Cleveland rappers Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Chip da Rippa, and Ray Cash are on the mix, alongside STL rappers Nelly and Ali.

There are tons of other artists on this thing, so it makes a perfect intro to some cool Midwest hip-hop. And it's free. So what are you waiting for? —Michael Gallucci (follow me on Twitter @mgallucci)
