When: Sat., Aug. 4, 4-7 p.m. 2012

The 2012 NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival touches down in Canton again today with a weekend’s worth of pigskin-flavored hoopla. Festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with the Grand Parade featuring 2012 enshrinees Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin, and Willie Roaf — not to mention giant balloons, marching bands, and floats. At noon, bring your favorite jersey or prized football to the Hall of Fame for a signing by some of the biggest names in the sport. Then start your tailgate season at 4 p.m. with the Celebration Fan Party, complete with food, beer, and music. Today’s events wrap up at 7 p.m. with the Enshrinement Ceremony at Fawcett Stadium. Tomorrow, the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints kick off the first pre-season game of the year at 8 p.m. Prices vary by events. Tickets and a full schedule of happenings can be found on the website.
