A Curve of Color

When: Thu., Jan. 12 2017

Did you know that American Greetings’ new world headquarters at Crocker Park has a fine art gallery that’s open to the public? Gallery W’s latest exhibition opens with a reception from 5 to 7 tonight. A Curve of Color pairs Samuel Butnik’s paintings with Bonnie Cashin’s fashion designed for Coach, both during the ’60s and ’70s. This special exhibition features items from the permanent collections of both the Western Reserve Historical Society’s History Center and the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve. Following tonight’s premiere, A Curve of Color remains on view through Feb. 23. Gallery W is located on the first floor of the American Greetings building, below the giant rose, off Main Street. Admission is free. (Josh Usmani)
