A Farm to Table Feast

When: Sat., July 15 2017

It seems hard to believe it has been 10 years since the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory & Educational Foundation (better known as the Morgan Conservatory, or simply the Morgan) was founded in Cleveland's Midtown district. At 15,000 square feet (and a one-acre garden), the Morgan Conservatory is the largest arts center in America specifically dedicated to every aspect of papermaking, book arts and letterpress printing. In celebration of the Morgan's 10-year anniversary, its Sam Caraboolad Garden was expanded this spring, doubling its size. Tonight from 5:30 to 9:30, the Morgan hosts a Farm to Table Feast in the garden (weather permitting), with live art demonstrations and music. You'll find tasting stations by Edwins Leadership & Restaurant Institute, Fire Food & Drink, Flying Fig, Sterle's Country House and more. All tastings will feature local and homegrown products highlighting neighborhood gardens and farms. An opening cocktail reception includes seasonal craft cocktails created by Watershed Distillery and wine tastings by local Chateau Hough Vineyards. (Usmani)
