A Floral Fixation
The 47th annual Ohio Mart that kicks off today at 10 a.m. at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron features a variety of activities and events. Local artisans will be on hand to hawk everything from jewelry to garden products. Vintage items and antiques will be for sale in the hall’s Carriage House. Area floral designers will decorate the Manor House and give lectures in the Manor House Auditorium. While the Stitchery Fair is on hiatus this year, the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild will be on hand to sell stitching kits and needlework supplies. Tickets are $9 and Ohio Mart runs through Sunday.
