A Kid Friendly New Year's Eve Celebration

When: Sat., Dec. 31 2016

Looking for a kid friendly New Year’s Eve celebration? The Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH) hosts its annual New Year’s at Noon event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. All day, guests can create their own party hats, noisemakers and take-home crafts. Twelve hours before midnight, countdown to noon with a dinosaur egg drop and find out what’s inside. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the museum’s galleries, Global Kitchen and visiting the animals in the Perkins Wildlife Center & Woods Garden. The event is free with museum admission. Additionally, catch a special New Year’s-themed show in the planetarium for an additional fee. General admission to CMNH is $15 for adults, $10 for children (ages 3 to 18) and seniors (ages 60 and over). CMNH members and children ages 2 and younger are always free. Planetarium tickets are $5 or free for members or toddlers. Parking is available in the museum’s garage, located at the corner of Wade Oval Dr. and East Blvd. (Usmani)
