“I found an abortion clinic with pool tables in it,” comedian Corey Holcomb said proudly in an act he did at Laughapalooza. “While my girl was in the recovery room, me and the doctor were gambling. I won all my money back and was $100 up for the next visit.” Holcomb always has a harsh story about growing up on the streets or his misogynistic treatment of women, but every joke is followed by his infectious smile and laugh. You can’t help but love his light-hearted spirit but hate him for the jaw-droppingly inappropriate jokes he tells. He speaks nonchalantly about meeting his 11-year-old son for the first time in a joke that makes you hope he’s making it all up. But at the same time he’s very capable of being just that crude, which makes it all the funnier. (William Hoffman)
