In celebration of Halloween, the Cleveland chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) hosts GUTS, a pumpkin carving competition to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish, and all funds will be used to help grant the wishes of Northeast Ohio children. The competition is open to local and regional creative professionals. Prizes will be awarded for the first place individual, first place team and people’s choice award. The event also includes a silent auction. GUTS takes place at ABC the Tavern Uptown (next to MOCA Cleveland) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. today. Admission to attend is free. Registration is $30 for individual carvers and $60 for teams.
