Six months ago, most blue-state dwellers had no idea who Sara Evans was. But after the country singer’s turn on Dancing With the Stars and, more notably, her departure from the TV show in the middle of a nasty divorce in October, she became tabloid fodder. And a star. With most of those unpleasantries behind her, Evans is getting back to doing what she does best: singing twang-filled hits like “A Real Fine Place to Start,” “Suds in the Bucket,” and “Cheatin’.”
