A Rocket to the Moon/Austin Gibbs/Bonaventure/Stiletto

When: Fri., Oct. 19, 6 p.m. 2012

Posting personal videos from your bedroom on the Internet sounds like the beginning of a Law and Order SVU episode. But that was the first step singer Nick Santino took before his electric-pop sound snowballed into the four-piece pop/rock set A Rocket to the Moon. The band’s full-length debut, On Your Side, gained it a spot on 2009’s AP Tour with the Maine and then led to slots on Bamboozle and Warped. They finally played their first headlining show last year. Anticipate hearing tunes from the forthcoming Wild & Free, due out later this year. It features the catchy, Train-like single “Whole Lotta You,” which also appeared on their 2012 EP That Old Feeling.
