Accessibility is the order of the day at the weekend's brand-new Cleveland Wine Festival at Voinovich Park. "Usually at these types of festivals, you'd have to pay about $65 to $100," says organizer Chris Previte. "That can be intimidating. This is not a snobby event." Unlike the annual Vintage Ohio (which focuses on state-made vino), the Cleveland Wine Festival offers more than 200 domestic and international samples — from perky Australian blends to some super-tasty U.S. vintages. "We're a little more international," says Previte. Still, homegrown Debonné and Ferrante vintages rank among the fest's top wines, says Previte, who suggests picking up a bottle or two. "These days, you can have wine any time — well, just not at breakfast, of course."
