As part of the Rock Hall’s look back at 1967, the Rock Hall will celebrate Helen Hersh’s contributions to the everlasting imagery of rock and roll. Hersh created and designed artwork for live music venues in New York and rock performers during the 1960s and 1970s. Hersh's work promoted shows at several New York City music venues, including the Fillmore East and the Village Theatre, as well as several rock performers, such as Aretha Franklin, John Mayall, Moby Grape, the Moody Blues, Savoy Brown and Simon & Garfunkel.
