Archaeology and Earth Sciences take center stage during this annual event. Bring in your favorite fossils, rocks, minerals and artifacts for identification by Museum scientists. Try primitive technologies such as atlatl throwing, pump drilling, cordage making and chipping tools from stone. See rock being cut for thin-section identification of minerals under a microscope. Meet curators, guest scientists and representatives from regional institutions and organizations and learn about upcoming projects, excavations and field trips. This event is on International Archaeology Day, and is part of Ohio Archaeology Month and National Earth Science Week.
Price: Free with Museum admission ($12 Adults, $10 Youth, Seniors)
