Archaeology and Earth Sciences take center stage on this special day. Bring in a fossil, rock, or artifact for identification by Museum scientists. Try primitive technologies such as atlatl throwing, drilling with stone tools and corn grinding. Meet curators, guest scientists and representatives from regional organizations and universities. Learn about upcoming excavations, field trips and volunteer opportunities. Get information on related clubs and opportunities to work with archaeologists, geologists and paleontologists. Archaeology and Earth Science Day is free with Museum admission. This event is on International Archaeology Day, and is part of Ohio Archaeology Month and National Earth Science Week.
