Arlo Guthrie — Re: Generation Tour

When: Tue., Oct. 24, 7:30 p.m. 2017

Two years ago, singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie came through town on a tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Alice's Restaurant Massacree," his rambling folk ditty about how dumping some garbage on Thanksgiving Day got him in a heap of trouble and inadvertently helped him avoid the draft for the Vietnam War thanks to his criminal record. For his current tour, Guthrie has teamed up with his children, Sarah Lee and Abe, for the Re: Generation Tour, his attempt to "give voice to the common folk." At a time when the what the world needs now really is another folk singer, Guthrie keeps the fire burning. (Niesel)
