Art Bits

When: Sat., Feb. 11 2017

Calling all artists! The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve presents its new 2017 Art Bites series, an instructional series of lectures and workshops on professional practices for artists with Mary Urbas, gallery coordinator and exhibition curator at Lakeland Community College. This free, six-week class is specifically designed to help artists turn their studio practice into a business by marketing and promoting their work beyond the walls of their studios. Urbas brings more than 35 years of experience as a gallery owner, curator, educator and consultant. The series begins at 1 p.m. today. Each week is limited to 45 guests and registration is required. Note: Weeks 3 and 4 are limited to 12 participants due to the “workshop” format. For more information on the series and to sign up, call the AAWR offices or register through Eventbrite. (Usmani)
