Anyone who has taken an Art History class in college or visited a museum gift shop knows how expensive art books can be. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow, the Akron Art Museum hosts a special book sale. The sale includes brand new exhibition catalogues from previous exhibitions at the museum, duplicates and additional art-related texts, as well as collectible books, some signed by the authors. Have too many art books already? While you’re at the museum, don’t forget to check out the current exhibitions, including Turn the Page: The First Ten Years of Hi-Fructose. Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors over 65 and students (with valid ID) and free for children 17 and under, members and Blue Star Families. (Usmani)
