Art Show: Cleveland Artists Foundation's Black and White

When: Tuesdays-Saturdays. Continues through July 28 2012

An overview of painter Edwin Mieczkowski’s geometric abstractions focuses on the artist’s colorless works from the 1960s and relates them to his later, more colorful works. The shift represents a hypnotic, almost computational regularity of forms to more jittery, happenstance arrangements. An opening reception will be held Friday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. Through July 28 at Beck Center.
