Frank Capra’s classic film It’s a Wonderful Life centers on George Bailey (James Stewart), a guy who faces financial ruin and contemplates suicide as his only way out. Angel Clarence Oddbody (Henry Travers) takes him on a journey and helps him to realize how many lives he has touched, and George awakens to the fact that he’s truly had a wonderful life. Tonight at 7:30 at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra performs Dimitri Tiomkin’s score during a screening of the film. The concert is repeated tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $35.
