Behind the Art

When: Wed., May 14 2014

There’s a free lecture tonight at the Cleveland Museum of Art about the museum’s print collection. Jane Glaubinger, curator of prints, will discuss the current Treasures on Paper exhibit. This will be a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the various pieces, the stories behind their creation and how the museum acquired them. Some of the pieces have “fascinating stories full of surprises and intrigue” behind them. Although the museum’s collection is not the largest, it’s considered one of the best in the country. The lecture begins at 7 p.m. and takes place in the Recital Hall. (Trenholme)
