You can't spend more than $5 for lunch here, unless you're really trying. It's a one-woman shop, where the owner takes your order in one room, then goes into another and cooks it herself. Try the wonderful pork or cheese papusas and tamales for $1.50. Eat three, and you're stuffed. Or live dangerously and try the boiled cactus platter with red hot sauce for $4.50. It helps if you go with someone who speaks Spanish. But if that's not possible, just point randomly at something on the menu. It's all good.
