Chris Hegedus

Cleveland's comedy-club circuit nailed it when it crowned Chris Hegedus its funniest joke-cracker. Earning the title at the Ninja Comedy Death Match II at the now-defunct Bassa Vita Lounge in Lakewood, the 29-year-old Berea native yukked his way through gags about his love life, self-imposed baldness, and the tongue-in-cheek "Garden Spots of America" tour. Since then, the cross-country trips have been taking Hegedus to stops in such major metropoli as Butler, Pennsylvania, and Angola, Indiana. But please note: "Appearances," Hegedus cautions, "are subject to change if I should get attacked by rednecks, farm animals, and/or farm equipment."
