The last person you'd expect to see recruiting new voters would be an auburn-wigged, rhinestone-flashing drag queen. But don't put it past Erica Martinez. Onstage, she's one of Ohio's winningest female impersonators, with more than 30 beauty-pageant crowns to her credit. Offstage, he's Paco, a 33-year-old adult-bookstore clerk and father of one, who's on a campaign to sign up unregistered Democrats. "I think it's really important that we get [President] Bush out of the White House," says Martinez, who's never voted before. "Who has the right to tell me I can't get married? If I want to marry a man, I will."
