Sometimes folks just don't know how good they have it. Take the Harp, a quintessential neighborhood pub that would succeed in any city of America, if not Ireland. The best pubs treat guests like family, filling them up with good drink, good food, and good cheer. That's been the formula at this Cleveland mainstay for almost 20 years. In the dead of winter, guests warm themselves by the fire with a pint of dark ale. In summer, the expansive back patio fills up with folks eager for a bite with lake and sunset views. Inside or out, there's comforting Irish fare like fresh-baked soda bread, brilliant fish and chips, savory shepherd's pie, and authentic boxty topped with salmon or corned beef. While newer and perhaps flashier restaurants continue to pop up, we will always have a warm place in our heart for the trusty old Harp.
