With more than 200 gigs a year on their dance card, Colin Dussault's Blues Project might be the city's hardest-working band. And when they work hard, they play hard -- these aren't the kind of blues that bring you down. The Project's Live at Main Street Café album captures a mainstay of the sextet's live sets, a horny triple entendre: "Good Booty & BBQ/Simultaneous/I Just Want to Make Love to You." Dussault's adoption of "Good Booty" praises hot meat and warm flesh, and the theme continues through the rest of the tunes. Whether it's performed like Willie Dixon's original or Foghat's classic-rock adaptation, "I Just Want to Make Love to You" makes booties quake. And South Park fans will recognize "Simultaneous" as a tender ballad about the joys of a mature, sacred love shared between a man, a woman, and her sister. It's a musical ménage à trois.
