Working out of a studio on the third floor of 78th Street Studios, Frank Oriti is best known for his dynamic, hyper-realistic portraits of very interesting friends and family.After graduating from Bowling Green in 2006, he returned home and spent the following year and a half working in the city's steel mills. Oriti continued to paint in his spare time and, by the fall of 2008, he was accepted into the graduate program at Ohio University. His work has been featured in the New York Times, and he received the Cleveland Arts Prize Emerging Artist Award in 2013. Stop by his studio on any given Third Friday to see what he's working on.
