Helio Terra might not be the kind of place one lingers, although there are a handful of seats and stools for dine-in guests. But that doesn’t stop the customers who are on a mission to track down some of Cleveland’s cleanest food. Everything here is vegan, much of it is raw, most of it is organic, and all of it is delicious and healthy. One wall is devoted to a chalkboard-style menu which ticks off items like coffees and teas, cold-pressed juices and fruit smoothies, creative salads and quinoa bowls, and “meaty” sandwiches like the Reuben, made not with corned beef but seitan. The shop’s location on Prospect, a stone’s throw from Red the Steakhouse, offers a bit of salvation in this meat-and-potatoes town.
