Last year, Gotta Groove Records, the local vinyl pressing plant, sent out a Christmas single (pressed on vinyl, of course) to its friends and clients. It has continued the tradition this year and has just issued a 7-inch single (on translucent green vinyl) that features employees performing a few choice Christmas classics. “We pressed a little less than 500 and sent most out to suppliers and customers,” says Gotta Groove owner Vince Slusarz, who adds he gave each of the artists on the album a few copies that they could either sell or give away. Here at Scene, we're hoping to get our hands on a few extras; if anyone is interested in receiving one, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see what we can do. Remember you must have a working turntable to be able to play the single.
