When: Fri., June 2 2017
Thanks to a commitment to creating a communal space for creatives for roughly 15 years, the Tower Press Building is home to many artists. This weekend, many of the building’s resident artists will showcase their current work with Boundless, a self-curated exhibition at the Wooltex Gallery. The exhibit opens with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. today. The exhibiting artists are part of the Tower Press Artists Group, a tenant association, which discusses, plans and executes several events each year. The Tower Press Artists Group includes resident artists and businesses that assist or represent artists. Local artists with studios at Tower Press include painters, printmakers, mixed media artists, photographers, filmmakers and performance artists. A full list of resident artists is available at towerpressgroup.com. Following the opening reception, the gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June. Stop in to view the exhibition, and stay for lunch at Artefino Café, located directly next to the Wooltex Gallery on the first floor of the Tower Press Building. Admission is free.
