Seasonal Special Happenings

Cleveland Cobras Play in Lakewood

When: Sat., July 30 2011

Were you worried that your dawg ears and foam fingers were gonna stay in the closet this fall? Get over it. Great football has been in season all summer, and tonight is one of your few remaining chances to be part of it. The Cleveland Cobras, part of the minors' Heartland Football League, play their final home game of the regular season tonight with a rematch against the Northeast Ohio Predators. Down to the Predators by one game for top spot in the division, the Cobras are looking for a win to land the title for the second year in a row. When was the last time you could say that about the Browns? Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Garfield Middle School, 13114 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors 60 and over, and free for kids 12 and under. More information can be found at clevelandcobrasfootball.com, by calling 216-682-6375, or on Facebook. — Hayden
