Cleveland Jazz Orchestra: Tierney Sutton Sings for Lovers

Led by Paul Ferguson, the Cleveland Jazz seeks to promote jazz in its "historical and contemporary forms." The organization hosts concerts and aims for "worldwide recognition in cooperation with guest artists and looks to shepherd young musicians toward the future of jazz." Jazz singer Tierney Sutton joins the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra for an event billed as "an evening of romantic jazz standards and love songs" that feature Ferguson's arrangements. The concert begins at 8 at the Ohio Theatre. Tickets are $35 to $55. (Niesel)
