When: Sun., June 24, 12-5 p.m. 2012
Two friends. Hundreds of pairs of shoes. One goal. To bring together hundreds, if not thousands, of sneaker enthusiasts to raise money for a deserving organization. This is the plan for the third Cleveland’s Got Sole Sneaker Showcase on Sunday, June 24 at the Embassy Suites in Beachwood, which will benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Kramer, with co-chairperson Andrew Watts of Cleveland, chose to donate proceeds from the 2012 show to the Children’s Tumor Foundation to increase awareness of neurofibromatosis (NF), a disease causing tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body that can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain. General admission for Cleveland’s Got Sole is $10, which includes five raffle tickets. Attendees can purchase additional raffle tickets at the show for $1 each to enter to win rare shoes and clothing packages.
