Cleveland's Got Style: Great Lakes Fashion Week Kicks Off With Accessory Show

Models getting their hair done backstage by Mona Lisa Salon and Spa. Owner Mona Hirst and her team of stylists worked with designers to create concepts that matched the vision behind the work. Hirst laughs when asked if any of the styles will be crazy. “Yes, it’s going to be crazy. The show will be more of a New York Runway,” with creativity and artistry to spare.

Tashawna Jackson, owner and designer of Tashawna J. Couture. Jackson has been designing for two years. She attended design school for a while, and then returned to Cleveland to work towards opening a store. Last night was her first show.
