The back-to-back wins vs. the Lakers and the Clippers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last month were what kick-started the Cavaliers’ current success. Though the Lakers beat the Bulls in a double-OT stunner last week, they’re without their franchise leader Kobe Bryant for the remainder of the season and shouldn’t inspire anything like sweat in their matchup with the Cavs this weekend. The Cavs’ll have to get through the Clippers first though, tonight, at the Q. The Clips have Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in the All-Star Game (Cavs have LeBron and Kyrie) and a snub in DeAndre Jordan, a center who’s having the most dominant season of his career. Tipoff’s at 8 p.m. and will be televised nationally on TNT. Cavs vs. Lakers is Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Tickets start at $25. (Sam Allard)
